We offer United Way's Education Success (Let's Get 2 Work) and Economic Opportunity Funded Programs. Central Iowa Works is an initiative of United Way of Central Iowa and one of 33 regional collaboratives under The National Fund for Workforce Solutions.

We host the Salvation Army's mobile office to provide Rental and Utility Assistance (2nd Monday) and Clothing, Food, and home good assistance (4th Monday) monthly.
Ther mission is to lead, advocate and serve as well as plan and coordinate resources in the provision of services to persons in central Iowa, their families, caregivers or representatives enabling elders to lead independent, meaningful and dignified lives in the least restrictive environment.

The Lighthouse and WeLIFT staff work together to provide community resources for the Glory of God such as life classes, community meals and fellowship.
WeLIFT has a mission of moving our clients to self-sufficiency and financial literacy is a critical component to fulfilling that mission. Financial institutions such as Peoples Bank and Wells Fargo partner with us to provide expert advice for our clients.
With the unprecedented mental health crisis currently facing our communities and employers, it’s critical that we, as leaders in the community and in business, continue to educate ourselves on mental illness and offer assistance.
